Wonderful Woonerfs

Given the preoccupation some students in the studio have with blurring the public and private realms as well as touching on urban issues, it may be worthwhile to look at the appropriation of Woonerfs. From the Dutch model of sharing all the street with everyone, this has even been executed quietly in Toronto. It would be far more useful to actually go to the Toronto site to see what is going on and specifically examine the impact architecture has on these zones.
